75 DCmind Brushless: brushless 600W motor with integrated electronics that knows no limit.

Thanks to its embedded intelligence, security features and communication capabilities, the SQ75 has put Crouzet ahead of the new app competition. This latest addition to the DCmind Brushless family is made in France and available in three versions from 310 W to 600 W.

High performance and sealed: a winning combination

With the SQ75, Crouzet has focused on excellence. Firstly, it has high torque values, especially for its 310 W (80350) version, which has a nominal torque of 1 Nm (and 2.5 Nm peak!), over an extended instantaneous speed range of 1 to 5,000 rpm. “The SQ75 is capable of quickly accelerating… and then braking just as suddenly, even with highly inertial loads, thanks to its rejective energy management module. This module absorbs voltage rejection caused by decelerations, due to the braking of service robots wheels in intralogistics for example, “ explains Michel Nicol, Business Engineer at Crouzet.

New on the market, the off the shelf SQ75 is water- and dustproof (except the shaft and frontface), including the holding brake 4.5 Nm version, with two levels of protection: IP67* and IP69** (except front face and shaft), adapted to the most severe environments. “Combined with the wide range of usable voltage (from 9 V to 75 V, with a power supply and/or battery), the level of seal makes the SQ75 ideal for service robotics: in agriculture (agbots), logistics (AGV, AMR), defense or industrial cleaning. Supplied with or without a gearbox, it can operate in standalone mode or on a CANopen network. The SQ75 can be used for conveying systems, packaging machines, as well as vehicle or personnel access control systems,” continues Camille Machet, Offer Creation Motion for Crouzet.

A safe, smart and truly communicating motor

The SQ75 is safe to operate, thanks to the Safe Torque Off inputs. They make it possible to release the motor independently of the microprocessor in the case of an emergency, for example a machine that’s integrated on a safety chain requiring human intervention.

The smart functions of the SQ75 can be programmed directly via a simple USB connection. The “DCmind Soft + CANopen” free software is supplied by Crouzet.

The motor remains, of course, controllable via the CANBus, which also issues alerts and monitors usage data.

Easy to install, operate and maintain

Crouzet pays attention to the integration of its products in their customers’ business environments, particularly during the installation, operation and maintenance phases,” says Camille Machet. In particular, the SQ75 provides a safeguard against wiring faults. It allows motor start-ups from a PC with a standard USB cable and a quick and easy set-up thanks to its “DCmind soft + CANopen” software.

A local diagnosis is possible via the USB port while in CANopen mode. Besides, the integrated front panel LED allows the user to check the communication status.
