xtensive flooding in Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra States in India have led to 100’s of deaths and left 1000’s of people seeking shelter, food and medical care.
Employees at our Bangalore facility reacted quickly and through their local CSR programme, Crouzet donated 20,000 IRS to the local ELCIA Association to help finance the rescue operations that had to be urgently deployed to support the people living in the devastated areas.
Mallikarjunappa Handarkalli Mahadevappa, Crouzet’s local HR Manager told us
‘Exceptional rains have been thrashing down Northern Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra states over the past few days and citizens life’s are being threatened. It is important that we act now to help the local population and demonstrate our brotherhood and solidarity’.
