Crouzet CSR winter collects

F

rom January 22nd to 26th, employees got mobilized in favour of people in need.  We ran two collects at our two sites in Valence for local organizations.

  • The first one was a collect of warm clothes and blankets in favour of the Red Cross led by one of our employee, Isabelle Camu, who has been an active volunteer for the Red Cross for years.
  • The second one was led by 3 students from the local Montplaisir college, in partnership with the Entraide & Abri (Aid & Shelter) organization located in the Tain and Tournon area, as a school project. Their aim was to supply hygien kits for homeless people.

An estimated 150€ of clothes and hygiene products were collected during this week matched by the company with an 150€ cheque.

This extra sum was used to buy 10 Decathlon sleeping bags for the homeless. The sport equipment supplier played the game and added 2 free pieces!

Both the Red Cross and the 3 students were very grateful to us.

Facing harsh winter conditions with very low sub-zero temperatures by night in France, it had become a citizen duty to assist homeless people.
